1. What will the final exam cover?
2. What will the format be?
A: 90 minutes. You will write an in class essay on Cry, the Beloved Country. You will have any combination of short answer, true/false, matching, and multiple choice questions concerning your novel, prefixes, roots suffixes, punctuation, agreement, and pronoun usage.

3. Which punctuators do I need to review?
  • commas
  • semicolons
  • dashes
  • colons  
  • If you have forgotten how to use them, review Bedford Section 7: Punctuation. 
4. How should I study for each section?
  • For Cry, The Beloved Country
  • For vocabulary
    • Study your binder notes
  • For grammar
    • Study your binder notes and review Bedford
      • Part 5, Grammatical Sentences, Sections 21, 24, 25
      • Part 7, Punctuation, Sections 32—35, 3
5. What if I was absent for any notes?
A: Ask a friend to work with you, and go through the blog posts.

6. How much of my grade is the final exam worth?
A: 10% (5% for the essay and 5% for the M.C. test).
